Inventory clerk must know how long it takes to receive orders and how many units will sell in that time to determine an appropriate value for comparison for the inventory alert.

Custom fields

Custom fields and field sets are available in IT Asset Management version. Custom fields allow you to track additional information about your assets that the default asset attributes don’t cover. You can have a custom field set with just one custom field in it, or multiple custom fields. The idea of field sets is commonly used to keep grouped fields.

Application settings

If you wish to be reminded via email when your assets are about to reach EOL, or when your licenses are expiring, make sure you have an alert email address listed in Admin > Settings. You can enter a single email address, or multiple email addresses, separated by commas.

Device info consist of all the information elements for all the devices. you can find the complete information about the device such as device tag, manufacturer, model, serial code, current status, checkout user details etc.

Asset tags are the unique identifier for assets within your system. Each one must be unique, and is often used in conjunction with Asset Labels. They identify each unique piece of hardware so that you know which specific device it is.


Check In

When an employee leaves your company, or  an asset is not functioning properly, you would check back in. Checking it back in indicates that it’s back in your possession. It’s up to you to decide what status to assign.

Check out

When you checkout an asset you are marking them as being in the possession of someone else. This means, they cannot subsequently be checked out to another person until they are checked back in.
